Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I have a wedding coming up, how soon should I book A DJ?
A: Typically, a couple spends the better part of a couple of years planning a wedding. With that in mind, the sooner you book your DJ the better. It gives the DJ time to plan our his/ her details concerning the event. I would recommend speaking to DJ no later than a year out from the wedding furthermore, i recommend booking your DJ no less than 8 to 9 months out from the date of the event. You want to be able to have the time to co-ordinate the important parts of the reception such as, bridal party introduction song, you and your other half's introduction song so forth and so on. Things can get pretty in depth.
Q: Are you able to provide music for the wedding service itself?
A: Yes
Q: Why should I book a DJ for smaller events such as a small office party instead of just using a radio?
A: It's true you could just use a boom box that's been collecting dust in the attic or in the supply closet and just set it a radio station and let it go. Where's the fun in that? What makes it worth hiring a DJ to host any type of event is the interaction. Having a live person right in front of everyone having the flexibility to play all sorts of different music to cater to a more diverse crowd of people. Besides, when was the last time your radio got everyone off the butts for a limbo contest?
Q: How are you able to keep your rates as low as they are?
A: The key is low overhead. We advertise and market the company using free avenues. We don't maintain over priced subscriptions such as those that can be had by promo only and the like. We do everything we can to spend the smallest amount of money possible to keep us going so that we can pass those savings on to our clients.
Q: I've booked DJ's in the past and I wasn't real satisfied with what I got for what I paid, what makes you different?
A: What makes Nuthin' But the Tunes different from everyone else out there is the fact that we really care about the service we provide. We believe our future business depends on what we do today. If we showed up to your event unprepared or even something as small as unprofessionally dressed, that will make you not want to be our client in the future. Our biggest difference is the fact that we treat your event like its ours! Every detail MUST be perfect. Everything MUST go according to plan anything less is a failure. That's how we feel, anything less than a smile on your face at the end of the night is a failure.
Q: What is your refund and cancellation policies?
A: Refunds and cancellations are handled the same way. Since we generally require a 20% deposit to ensure the retaining of our services, we will refund any amount paid minus 20%. We do this because we put so much time and effort into planning and preparing for your event that we are already going to take the loss of your business for an event, to not get anything after having put all that work into things only to find out later that your cancelling with us just wouldn't be fair. Refunds are handled in much the same way, should you be dissatisfied with our service for one reason or another such as the DJ was a half hour late or the DJ didn't play anything you requested and basically just sat there like a bump on a log would result in a full refund.
Q: What type of music do you play?
A: We play all kinds of music. Are you a country fan? We've got that. Are you an 80's rock fan? We've got that. Do you go absolutely bonkers for the throbbing bass line of a good techno track? We've got that. Are you into Metal? We've got that. Are you more of a disco queen? We've got that. You're the boss! You just make sure the crowd is there and we'll handle the rest.
